In what only feels like a few brief moments... now an entire year now has come between that dreadful thing called 2020. While it certainly hasn't been easy, digging out of the ditches has provided some incredible experiences and memories. Here is a brief look back at some of those powerful stories and beautiful pictures created by our studio in 2021. That's a wonderful attribute of being artists... our unique ability to squelch negativity & pessimism... and optimistically focus our energy and our output on creating & making new things. We're so grateful for the continued opportunity to pursue our callings and dreams - in such a crazy world. Thank you to all of our partners, clients & collaborators for your continued trust, talents and time. Much Love, Evolve

Overzealous tour guide with a winning smile or bull shark with killer teeth... whose grill are they really checking out? This concept is explored in the newest co-branded integration marrying Shark Week with Crest. Developed and written by Discovery writer/producer Daniel Tripod and executed by 2C Creative (“2C”), the spot is equal parts live action and CG, with a clever, humorous approach that has become synonymous with such collaborations.

Commissioned to help promote Animal Planet’s “Puppy Bowl XV,” 2C Creative delivered a playful trailer with just enough epic flair to do proper justice to the event’s 15th anniversary. The Miami-based creative agency fused live action, sound design and VFX to bring life to a concept developed by the network, and set it all against the musical backdrop of Mötley Crüe’s anthem “Home Sweet Home”. Mötley Crüe donated their fee in support of animal rescue. The resulting spot embraces the mantra: At Puppy Bowl XV, we don’t go big or go home. We go big AND go home.

Appropriately for Women’s History Month, female-led NuContext, helmed by executive producer and founder Angela Guice, produced ABC’s campaign for the 94th annual Academy Awards. The show is hosted this year by three women: Regina Hall, Amy Schumer and Wanda Sykes. It’s the first time the Oscars have had any hosts since 2018 when Jimmy Kimmel hosted. “This is a historic moment for the Oscars and we didn’t take it lightly that this campaign was produced by a female-led production company,” Guice said. “It was a lot of girl power on set.” Besides the above spot, NuContext also produced the electronic press kit and social media assets as well as production support for the key art, which was shot by Art Streiber in conjunction with the ABC photography department.
