In what only feels like a few brief moments... now an entire year now has come between that dreadful thing called 2020. While it certainly hasn't been easy, digging out of the ditches has provided some incredible experiences and memories. Here is a brief look back at some of those powerful stories and beautiful pictures created by our studio in 2021. That's a wonderful attribute of being artists... our unique ability to squelch negativity & pessimism... and optimistically focus our energy and our output on creating & making new things. We're so grateful for the continued opportunity to pursue our callings and dreams - in such a crazy world. A+E Networks Upfront immersive event experience around the theme of 'Women Upfront: The Storytellers' for ad sales. Four months in the making and from the beginning it was clear that the New York Public Library would be the perfect location and canvas of where the beginnings of A+E's Upfront would take place. The initial theme 'House of Story' was a broader premise where A+E's brands would have a platform to tell individual stories. Olivia Munn, Queen Latifah, Kristin Davis, Leah Remini and many more personalities came to tell personal stories of how they connect with A+E's brands. From the steps of the NYPL to cocktail hour, the dinner and gift bags—this 360 immersive experience had social media in mind, but more importantly, provide a platform for storytelling to be heard and expressed at a time when a movement is happening for women all over the world. Design and aesthetic had to reflect the A+E brand—fun, playful yet sophisticated, confident, understated and chic in aesthetic. From the smallest elements like napkins, to the broader ideas around event sound design and graphics, concepted and executed to be one of the largest and most successful events in A+E Networks history.

Overzealous tour guide with a winning smile or bull shark with killer teeth... whose grill are they really checking out? This concept is explored in the newest co-branded integration marrying Shark Week with Crest. Developed and written by Discovery writer/producer Daniel Tripod and executed by 2C Creative (“2C”), the spot is equal parts live action and CG, with a clever, humorous approach that has become synonymous with such collaborations.

NuContext is proud that Hollywood’s biggest night featured this beautiful Pfizer + Oscars branded content spot. This campaign honors the hard working crew members who made the magic happen on some of this years Oscar nominated films. So many feels and a sincere thank you to our crew members for keeping us ready, set safe the past 2 years of pandemic production!

Sun, sand and recreating the Bachelor in Paradise Sayulita bar in Malibu? With covid protocols making travel to the actual location not possible, NuContext was tasked with creating an exact picture match of the iconic BIP bar for this Heiniken sponsor spot. Using production design magic, including all the palm trees, we transported our stars Lil Jon and Wells Adams back to Mexico right here in SoCal.
